Camera Composition in Film Preliminary Exercise (Individual Task)
The objective of this assignment was to learn about the different camera compositions by taking frames of different composition techniques. Composition is the way visual element of a scene are arranged in relation to each other. The technician is usually in charge of the composition in film who is also in charge of filming. Rule of thirds is a framing technique that positions the Elements in a scene on two lines running vertically and horizontally to show relation to another. Symmetrical balance is when equal weights are on equal sides of composition. Asymmetrical balance is when unequal visual weight is on each side of composition. Depth of field is where where the size in image appears sharper.
