Media studies is the study of mass medias, I hope to learn more about the medias and how it affects audiences. I like to use my television to watch movies and shows on a streaming platform. I usually use Netflix or Disney+ to watch these movies. I really find interesting in how audiences can be engaged based on the target audiences. Also how there are multiple type of media platforms, and devices to access media.
It is important to understand when, how, who, or why media is used to engage audiences because people might need it at some point of their life. Engaging audiences can help when promoting a media product, like a job, movie, show, etc. It can also help whenever analyzing why a media product is being successful. Audience engagement can help you understand the different type of Target audiences, and genres of media products.
