 NEW EDITS PLAN Our teacher commented on how we have to change some stuff in our film, we are planning on changing this one walking scene to a scene where Adam and William have more dialogue about the news of Lilith's death. and adding more screen time and dialogue to other characters. We also plan on making our editing better like adding more sound effects, adding more background music, and more titles. I suggest to my team that we should also add more visual effects like filters to make the color tone in the film different and more suspenseful.

 Some audio editing we used in our film were music, and sounds liek screaming or gasping. here are some examples. The video editor in my group was me Ayline R., I added the sound effects and titles, music, and color. some challenges me and my team went through were deciding what music to add in our film. Also, we discussed about when to add sound effects and what sounds effects to use. 

 Editing in film is the process of assembling shots into a video. Editing can be important because it can dictate the pacing and can determine when audience gets information. My group used editing in film by adding sound effects in our film. We also used titles, filters, and colors.  here are a few examples of visual editing techniques we used.

  Ferdinand de Saussure's Theory of Semiotics Saussure theory is the theory of a French linguist (Ferdinand de Saussure), he believes that written or spoken language is the primary form of communication between humans but not the only form is not the only form. We watched a clip from the movie hunger games in which we analyzed the connotative signs and the denotative signs. Hunger games is a movie where a nation has 12 districts and the capitol, and each year two representatives from each district are selected to participate in the hunger games.The clip was when katniss volunteer for the hunger games.
