   Here are my two techniques of composition in film Depth of Field   Shallow Depth of Field   Definition: Shallow focus- when only a part of an image is in focus while the rest is out of focus. It isolates the character to focus on them.     Purpose: Background in focus and foreground out of focus- Foreground is blurred so that the background is in focus.   Example 2 : Back ground in Focus   Insert Image researched and referenced of the frame using the composition technique.      Name the film and the year of release and document why the director used the technique.   Defiance, 2008. Directed by Edward Zwick     The director used this technique to isolate the character from the crowd. The central idea is to bring focus in the emotions of the character.
